Holy Fire Ministry Training School is an evening Bible School designed for working and busy people who want to grow in knowing God and His Word. The Father called us to begin in 2003 with the conviction that his Word and Spirit work together to authentically equip us for ministry. Since our inception, Jesus has led us on an amazing journey through the Bible and his living presence has been changing our lives. Our students are now leaders and pastors throughout Brisbane and beyond. And God's work continues to grow and increase. This is no ordinary Bible School. We don't just study Scripture, but experience and live it out.

Get ready to embark on the most incredible journey – an odyssey through God’s Word. We begin with the first five books of the Bible – known as the Torah. Genesis through Deuteronomy provides Scripture’s solid foundation, revealing God’s eternal ways. Our goal is to engage the origin story of creation, humanity, the nations and God’s people to uncover God’s ways and intimately know him. In our study, we will discover that God hides his Good News in creation and that his works are consistent from the beginning till the conclusion of the Bible. Our journey will connect the Old Testament with the New Testament and will uncover Jesus hidden in the Torah. We will also learn the basics of the Hebrew language and Hebraic thought along the way. We begin on the rock-solid foundation that God is the genesis of all things: “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1, NIV).
God fills his story with pioneers and calls you to follow in their footsteps. What has God called you to pioneer? How do you carry it out? Beginning with Genesis, we will see God’s pioneers in action. We’ll discover what motivated them and set them apart from the passive crowd. We’ll explore the challenges pioneers face and how we must carry a pioneering spirit to persevere in our day. Men and women like Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebekah, Jacob, Leah, Rachel and Joseph will inspire us by their faith. Long Islander Walt Wiltman once wrote a poem, “Pioneers! O Pioneers!” to celebrate America’s pioneering spirit. In the same way, it’s time for us to encourage Kingdom pioneers who break new ground and pave the way for future generations. Hebrews tells us that “By faith Abraham, when called to go to a place he would later receive as his inheritance, obeyed and went, even though he did not know where he was going…And so from this one man…came descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and countless as the sand of the seashore” (Hebrews 11:8, 12, NIV).
A tree without strong roots will fall; a building without a solid foundation will collapse. Foundations are unseen but essential. God works in our lives to build a deep foundation so that we stand through storms and shelter the broken. This subject will teach us how our Father develops deep roots in us. We will trace the history of God’s underground work in his men and women and let Jesus do that unseen work in our hearts. As part of this journey, you will discover and learn to write your origin story, enabling you to share with others what your heavenly Father has done in your life. Knowing your roots will give you strength for your pilgrimage ahead. Paul said, “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness” (Colossians 2:6-7, NIV).
