Holy Fire Ministry Training School is an interdenominational Bible School that meets Monday nights in the heart of Brisbane City (Queen St. Mall). Pastor Glen & Anna Gerhauser founded HFTMS is 2003 to raise up mighty warriors for God's Kingdom. Their desire is to train you who are busy working hard––moms, dads, professionals, trade workers and students––to fulfill God's glorious purpose for your life. From the beginning we emphasized seeking God's heart, diligently studying his Scripture and letting his Holy Spirit work deep within. Consequently, the school has been producing much fruit in God's Kingdom and our students are leaders and pastors throughout Brisbane and beyond. 

Pastor Glen & Anna's roots are in the Pensacola Revival, a mighty move of God that reignited God's fire in millions of hearts around the world and led over one hundred thousand people to Jesus' saving power. After graduating New York's Hofstra University with High Honors in Business Management, Glen studied theology in the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry under Dr. Michael L . Brown, known as the world's foremost Messianic Jewish theologian. Glen also was personal trained by Pastor Dennis Hodulick, a well-respected Biblical teacher and leader in the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies. Once completing his theological and practical training, Glen was licensed and ordained through the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies. These, as well as other ministries, like David Wilkerson's Time Square Church, provided deep roots for our school's spiritual heritage. Our goal is to continue the legacy of faithfulness to God's Word, making disciples of Jesus Christ and spreading revival. 

Every three years we cycle through the Bible, exploring each book and applying it to your life. Each semester we teach with a fresh perspective, endeavoring to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying. You can jump in at any time. Our model is Jesus' way of spending three years with his disciples. Likewise, we encourage each student to consider studying with us for three years to become fully equipped and trained. Some students stay with us shorter and some even stay longer, continuing to study, serve and lead after they graduate. Our course also regularly features guest teachers from many different kind of ministries who personally live what they teach.

Our vision is to equip and empower you to be a fire-starter and world changer for Jesus Christ. It will take some time, but the more you allow the Father to change you, the more you will be an agent of change in this world. You have a unique ministry within which the world has never yet seen, but through God's work within, you will soon make a difference in this world. We are here to serve you from the beginning to the end of the process. We are not just a school, but a family working together for God's plan and purposes in Australia, the South Pacific and beyond.

Our curriculum is designed for you to grow in your character and gifting. It will help you increase in your knowledge of God and his Word. It will also strengthen you to keep the fire of God burning within.

Our beliefs reflect the standard evangelical statement of faith, focusing on the inspiration of all Scripture and the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to unite all sincere believers in Jesus, rather than divide through Christian doctrine. We aim to major on the major points of the Bible and minor on the minor points.
